By hiring from The Nappy Nook, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined below.

  • We have a 4 week minimum hire period. Hire periods commence on the day of delivery and finish on the day of collection.

  • If you wish to extend your hire period, this must be communicated with us at least 1 week prior to the initial end date as agreed upon at the commencement of the hire period. Reminders for hire extension and collection dates will be sent to you throughout your hire period.

  • All nappies are sanitised prior to the commencement of the hire period as per the Australian Laundering Standards (AS/NZS4146) for disinfection and in accordance with the information provided on the cleanclothnappies.com website.

  • The condition of all nappies in each bundle are thoroughly checked to ensure excellent used condition prior to hire.

  • We reserve the right to replace/alter the brand and/or style of nappy included within any bundles prior to the commencement of hire period

  • A check list of all items included in hire bundle will be provided to enable confirmation that all items have been delivered.

  • Full payment (including refundable bond) must be made to secure your bundle for the desired hire period.

  • A bond is required to ensure that (1) all hired items within nappy bundles (including accessories) are returned, and (2) all hired items are returned in adequate condition.

  • In the event that hire bundles are returned in inadequate condition, The Nappy Nook will be in contact with you to discuss any issues first. If you are unsure at any point, please contact us for help and advice.

    The Nappy Nook considers the following to be inadequate condition:

o   Nappies and/or inserts missing

o   Broken elastics

o   Stains (if you are having trouble with staining, please get in touch throughout hire period for support)

o   Ammonia damage

o   Signs of delamination in nappy shells as a result of exposure to excessive heat

o   Torn or ripped fabric

o   Nappies that have been soaked in chemicals, are smelly, have dye transfer or have been permanently altered or damaged beyond repair

o   Evidence of wash routine not being followed (e.g. the use of fabric softeners, soaking, vinegar use, lack of washing).

o   Nappies that have not been washed and properly dried prior to return (no damp nappies)

  • We reserve the right to keep part or all of your bond based on the condition of returned hire items. You will be charged the RRP for any products that are not returned, and/or returned in inadequate condition (see above). In the event that items are returned soiled, stained or with dye transfer, a portion of your bond will be kept to cover laundering fees. Bonds will be refunded into your specified bank account and a Record of Refund will be sent to you.

  • Refund policy: Should you change your mind and no longer wish to hire a bundle from us, you will receive a full refund provided that you have not commenced your hire period and already received your hire bundle. The Nappy Nook does not offer partial refunds should you choose to end your hire period early.
